Thread: Best Division/squad in Gotei 13

Id have to say that Division/squad 11 is the best in soul society. i base this on the fact that the 5th seat of squad 11(Yumichika Ayasegawa) can defeat a vice captain (Shūhei Hisagi, aquad 9), and that ikkaku (3rd seat) has bankai.

Also the vice-captain from squad 7 (Tetsuzaemon Iba), was originaly from squad 11, but transferred to the 7th Division so he can be a vice-captain. Renji Abarai was also a member of squad 11, buit and become vice-captain of the 6th division/squad. This would imply that squad 11 has powerful people, that are not vice-captains, that could fill in vice-captain positions in other squads.

squad/division 11 is just baddass.

The 11th squad seems to boast and gloat all they can, but get their ass kicked whenever some serious stuff goes down..
Ayasegawa explained why he was not of a higher rank(he didnt like the numbers of the higher ranks because they werent "beautiful"), so no biggie there..

I'll say that the ones with the most powerful captains are the best squads. or. nah i really dont know..

The whole 11th squad looks like just a bunch of thugs who can't use demon art - the aren't really that strong, considerably, I think they just a little above squad 4th.

Since we only know those two squads when it comes to ability, again - it's captain competition and there is a thread about it.

people, this pointless threads has no meaning, theres no way you can tell what division is the best if you havent really seen what they are capable of you only have seen one or two members in action, and you dont know what are the jobs of each division so i think is kinda pointless since you only had seen kempachi and his fellows in actions lol,

Why are you being so negative? I don't see you contributing to this community. I think this thread does have some significance, since the Winter War arc should be soon hopefully. Best squad will definitely contribute to SS's victory, and we're speculating which team is the best at the moment.

I think all divisions are equally worthless. Officers are the only thing worth talking about, and yes 11 has the best/most officers overall.

A captain to his squad in Bleach is not the same as a General to his Army. A captain can take out the rest of his squad (minus officers) with relative ease.

What I find most funny is that Genryuusai's vice captain see's it fit to wear a semi-captainish cloak and was defeated in one punch. Talk about sad :P. You'd think the commander general would have the best officers.

I find faults in this thread since we cant really base their current strength on people who have left to other squads just because they were officer material. I mean renji and tetsuzaemon arent still in the 11th so therefore dont contribute to its current strength. If we were going to base it off of how many strong people came from there then itd have to be squad 5 since Aizen said renji, kira, and hinamori (who are all vice captains now) were originally there as well as the fact that Gin was once Aizens Vice Captain and Aizen is ridiculously strong as well.

As to who is the strongest, do we judge solely on captain/vice captain strength or the squad as a whole. Most of a squad cant do jack so they wont help at all in the winter war, 11 may have 4 capable officer level fighters but that doesnt mean that ikkaku, yumichika, and yachiru are ridiculously strong either, Im fairly sure Yamamoto could take all 3 plus kenpachi if he wanted to so its really difficult to say.

In the end id choose either 4 mainly because the healing squad has really useful low rank members whereas most other squads dont (maybe squad 12).
