I'm thinking he was checking the battle site for Inoue's spirit energy from when ulquiorra was first introduced, because Inoue's attacks/powers are different from anyone else's. I think there were people who are saying Aizen is planning on recruiting/kidnapping Inoue for his own master plan? XD
