I've only been reading the forums since this morning, but their's something I've noticed with people comparing character's strength. Often, when two characters are compared, they assume that the only think that matters are speed and strength. But I've been reading/watching Bleach for a while, and I've come to the conclusion that in battles, style matters.
For example, some people assume that Rukia only wins battles because of plot devices. I believe this is wrong. In the Arrancar and Hueco Mundo arcs especially, she wins quite a bit. I think this isn't because of her physical strength, or speed, but her abilities. Rukia's fighting style is mostly centered around using Kidou spells and her zanpakutou's abilities, so she wouldn't do very well in a head-to-head fight. That's why in most of her battles, she utilizes her abilities to their best effects.
That above paragraph may have made no sense, but my point stands clear- Style Matters.
You can use this thread to discuss the fighting style's of various characters. Also, be aware that this is my first post, so tell me if I'm doing anything wrong.
