Thread: when hollow turn to arrancar

when shingami turn to vizard his reiatsu increase he can use cero and his spead increase but when hollow turn arrancar the only thing he gain that he have a human shape and become weaker he has to release his zanpactou toreturn to his original powerfull hollow form and nothing new so what is the need for the transformation ??
in the begining i thought that they will be able to use the 4 techniques of shingami like kido and they will have strong zanpactou with shikai and bankai
with unique power other than that of their original hollow power
we havn't seen an arrancar that use kidou or the other techniques of shingami so what is the use of transformation wasn't it supposed to break the wall between the hollow and shingami ,please discuss

By becoming arrancar, they become stronger than before and they became even stronger when they release they zanpaktou - I don't know why your saying the hollow becomes weaker when he becomes arrancar.
Moreover, they can use the fast-step technique and they have power of Menos Grande - the cero - which most hollows doesn't have.
And we don't know if there isn't more to their zanpaktou release - maybe they have something similiar to bankai, but only those arrancars who are high ranked.
Moreover, it would be stupid if they knew Shinigami magic - for that you need years of practice and it seems all of them didn't had much time to learn it nor much need.

Being an Arrancar = some power bost and the ability to THINK

thats a good gain :P

They gain some pretty nice special abilities and probably an increase in general strength.

Iron skin and that sonido for example, are very useful abilities.

The intelligence thing I'm not so sure about, Nell and co. are all sentient, we just don't really know what the norm for hollow intelligence is.

well they gain allot of intelligence... the kaien fake esoada was a gillian...
gillians usually walk around like stupids just shooting every with their cero... and he was kinda smart...

No, except Menos Grande we haven't met any hollow who can do cero besides arrancar (and Nello is arrancar too).

And yes, they are more independent from their instinct of eating souls - or just prefer better meat

sorry mind eror,i was meaning arrancar not hollow
and nero has special apility to absorp cero and felease it again i don't think that he on his own will release a powerfull cero
plus no one commented that the arrancar zanpactuo is really uselles
and about the thinking thing. i think hollows have some degree of intellgence like grand fisherand nell's group

Crappy Arrancars = ex Normal Hollows, and if you think about the normal hollows average inteligence and how that ex hollow is acting in the anime (IE seting traps and actualy sending his minions to do all the work) i think thats a real inteligence boost, also the medic arrancar that healed Numero Diez wan't a menos and seemed smart (not smart enough to realice 10 was an asshole, but you get the point)
