Thread: vizard zanpaktou

anyone wonder how the vizards zanpaktou work. I'm guessing from ichigo that its like a normal shinigami, but ichigo is different from everyone else.so it could be like an arrancar or totally different.opinions please

Should be the same as a shinigami. I mean, Vaizards are shinigami who obtained hollow powers, so they should retain the same sword release effect; meaning, sword amplifies their strength in some form (where as for the hollows, the sword releases the seal on their strength).

It's normal...we've seen Kensei's shikai, it's a pretty normal release, (a one edged knife with a ring next to the handle that allows the knife to be rotated freely).

yea but we haven't seen one vaizard with a shikai release. they all seem to be fighting with non-released zampaktou and their mask on. its either:
1. not releasing their zampaktou makes it easier for them to handle the reiatsu.
2. they just dont know Bankai
3. they just dont wanna or there's no need to release it.

It's also quite possible that releasing their Zanpakutou at their level of ... exposure to their hollow side, may very well trigger an uprising and thus be difficult to control.

Unless you meant to say bankai, that's totally wrong. (See post directly above yours.) And while I suppose it's possible that not all of them have enough zanjutsu potential for bankai, I would think that anyone capable of fending off full Hollow Ichigo probably would have bankai.

Also, please learn to spell zanpakuto.

yeah. if they can hold hollow ichigo off for that long they are strong enough to have their own bankai, im pretty sure they all do.

Actually now that I think about it there are some other options for power than just bankai even among shinigami. Look at Yoruichi, for instance. Since she was covert ops rather than Gotei 13, it's possible that they don't require bankai of their leaders. It could be that she isn't past shikai and never will be, and that she simply compensates with her mastery of the other combat forms and techniques such as shunko. (More likely Kubo just hasn't shown hers yet, but I'm just throwing the idea out there.)

So there might be a couple kido gods in there, or some whose shinigami abilities are relatively undeveloped but who have mastered their hollow abilities. (If vizard can use cero they can probably learn bala and hierro as well.)

i think mastering the hollow side gives your reiatsu a boost, which is why they dont have trouble handling hollow ichigo.
besides,they kept rotating shifts so its possible that they cant really handle him.

that lisa female was using some hand to hand move,so erachima's theory has some credibility.

thats a load of bull. Bankai is supposed to give your reiatsu a monster boost too. not only that, the vaizard weren't even in their shikai release.
Bleach is a crapshoot now.
