It's not that we hate it, it's that it's complete speculation with no reasonable backing. Until it's shown otherwise, shooting an arrancar through their hollow hole would mean you missed: the arrow goes through their body without touching them, and the arrancar laughs at you.

    Uryuu freaky, pale and geeky,
    how do your powers grow?

I don't think we've seen the old guys hole, but hes hollow bone structure thing, is a crown shaped thing on his head, thats where the crown chakra comes into play. On further thought, a hole in his head would be badass.

Well, there's two head chakra points.

One on the forehead, third-eye kinda thing.

Then the one on top, the crown point.

Eh, gonna look through it more, I guess. Nothing better to do right now.

    EDIT:

Aizen Myo-o is the name of a Buddhist diety, the God of passion and lust. Corresponding chakra point would be the groin, which symbolizes lust, sexual energy, and creativity(?). And since it is located in such a place, hormones come largely into effect, suggesting mood swings (Aizen's betrayal was not a 'mood swing', but it was a quite unexpected revelation of character). The element associated is water, which is seemingly what Aizen's zanpakuto is.

Sooo...Why does Aizen want to kill the King? Queen lovin'? Dunno, not making any real theories on this one, just throwing out random connections.

or probably arrancar's hole is tite kubo's means of messing our head. For all we know he might be on a deadline and he had to make so many details of an arrancar so he just fit the holes where it might look good to the character and the different holes also give rise to the different costume design that the arrancar is wearing despite the same appearance.

Hair, masks, swords, tsuba, uniforms, he changes them all between characters just for the sake of variety. Why would the holes be any different?

Different characters have different personalities, abilities, etc. How the character is designed visually shows the obvious differences, but look at swords. They look different. Different shapes. Different 'personalities'. Different abilities. So why can't holes placed differently have some effect, or hell, doesn't need to have an -effect-, but a meaning?

It's not unheard of to use visual aids and clues to what a character will act like in a series. I'm just saying maybe the holes work like this.

For aesthetic reasons, yes that definitely could be it too, actually I would say that's most likely it...no one is trying to force the chakra idea down your throat its just an interesting idea, and tbh I think you should give Kubo a little more credit, authors usually base ideas off other things, its kinda like you're downplaying the dudes intelligence..."of course its nothing substantial, the holes are just for coolness" I think it would be a lot cooler actually if they were based on something, and chakra does seem to fit for now, especially with the god names being Aizen oOa. The plot of Hellsing was largely based on Norse mythology and a old Norse play.
