Help me out here.
For me I'll say it's Ichigo, as that makes the main character noble and that's what happens most of the time in anime series anyway or at least close to death at some point in time.
I've read many series over the time. But I can't think of one where the main character dies in the end. Not to mention "most of the time".
Even Alita, who was thought to be dead was found alive in the last pages. Just like Yakumo.
And you know why. Because the readers don't want to see the character, they spend so much time on reading his story, die in the end (It would be like you wasted your time).
He/she didn't face all that fights and trouble to die in the end and not enjoy the happiness and peace he/she created. Not even if they gave their live to save everyone.
Do you want to see Naruto sacrificing himself and not seeing him as a Hokage? Or Ruffy ending like Gold Roger right after he found One Piece and not visting everybody he met in his jouney?
Most of the people don't want to see the main character die because they care about him. And that's the reason he'll survive.
In Bleach it could be possible. But only if he'd became a Shinigami after his death. But I wouldn't count that as dead since almost everybody he knows could see him as a Sinigami and he could still visit earth.
So it's not dead like in dead and never appearing again
edit: I got one. Kamui dies in the end (if the manga ends like the movie). But that's the only one I know
