This isn't a battle, it's a rescue mission, so they should be trying to avoid as much confrontation as possible. Even Ichigo knows he's not powerful enough to go against all of Hueco Mundo.

It wasn't the case in Soul Society.

He has that, "I'll cut anyone one in my way" attitude.

Im sick of people saying this arc is like the rescue rukia one. For one they don't have a guide to lead them (like "Yourichi-sama" the cool kuro-neko>>thats black cat if you dont know ), the enemy is tougher and possibly more numerous, there are absolutely no potential allies within Hueco Mundo (at least in SS they got Ganju and his sister plus a couple of captains near the end), plus the fact that once they get to Inoue they still have to fight for their lives to find a way out (it won't be a peaceful send off like in SS).

Why see 2 things from the lowest common denominator and simply lump them as the same? Some people have no appreciation of details.

That aside, on the matter of Ichigo's dad agreeing that he is being a worse parent than cruel Ryuuken (Ishida's dad), why do you think that is? I think that it has something to do with both Ishida and Ichigo having lost their powers at some point but Isshin chose to remain in the shadows while Ryuuken showed up to offer help.

This isn't Soul Society. Of course this mission will have a bunch of battles, but nowhere on the scale of Soul Society. Then, they had allies they depended on, and even those two captains who helped them. Who's going to help them in Hueco Mundo that can make a difference?

Ichigo's dad is the worse dad because Ichigo doesn't know about his powers. I think that's what he's getting at. He also hasn't trained Ichigo like Ishida was.

According to the latest chapter (241), Ichida's dad mention about Isshin's recovery. I assumed that he would have something in the past... and maybe he has some secrets for Ichigo as the family's heritage, who knows.

He is not such a shit dad, i think my Males's sense is quite accurate. Maybe all dads and Yoruichi will be their supporters to make an exit from Hueco Mundo. Since Urahara is a big planner, he would prepare something to bring back all people. If not, why should he let them go save Inoue, though?

He's probably powerful enough to go against 99% of it, it's the last 1% (arrancar and vastorode) that would get him.

    Uryuu freaky, pale and geeky,
    how do your powers grow?

well both missions have similarities and differences

similar points = save the heroine ( rukia in the previous , orohime in the current)

travel to another previously unknown world ( soul society before hand , Hueco Mundo in the current)

    same companionship

this is what you call DENIAL. this is the same thing as the rescue Inoue MIssion. they succeeded in saving Rukia, we'll have to see if they can succeed in this one, though i think they will fail.
ALso in SS, the only allies the had going in there were people in RUkongai which is outside the Court of Pure SOuls. And much like the previous one Inoue is being kept in a room isolated.

If they do succeed, i will put bleach on the backburner because realistically, it is impossible. Though they are the same situation"(rescue the damzel), the players this time are more ruthless.
