What is up with the Soul Society?
So I was sitting there and was thinking, "Hey, what gives? Why is it that when a person in the living world dies, he/she becomes instantly like...Japanese or something? Is that right? What's up?!
So I was thinking that there should be other death gods from different cultures, ya know?
Say the Europeans, it'd be cool if their Gods of Death zwere like...knights or something ;3.
Hehehe, ever wondered what death gods from other countries/cultures would be like? Seriously, I doubt the entire world's business with death falls all onto the hands of the Japanese...
Let's discuss rofl.
Lol @ U.S's death gods to be like...fucking cowboys or something

Glory to the almighty kingdom.
Perish into the wrathful sea
or ascend into the open arms of Pandora herself.
The choice is yours.

US Death Gods, sounds useless. lol Shikai = Nuclear Missile.
Well that one captain was black...what's his name? XD
-
tousen and he could have been born and lived in japan
this is somewhat interesting but our death gods would have black suits, ties and shades

Pffft, didn't you know? In anime, unless they specify world events/competitions where different countries compete with each other, everyone in the world is Japanese
Everyone in Bleach is Japanese (yes, even the black guy), so no, there are no cowboys or mounties

The people in the manga don't necessarily have to be Japanese... It's just the publishing language so theoretically they could all be some alien culture. If Bleach were originally produced by an english guy, everyone would seem english?... er... I had something and then I lost it...

Chad is Latino
Tousen is black
Ighigo’s mom looks Caucasian
Orihime looks very Caucasian
Yoruichi looks Indian (asian)
Aizen is obviously American

Chad's grandpa was very Mexican.
He may be part Japanese, but he is part Latino too.... a big part at that.
You do see it though... Aizen is not Asian...right?
Obviously if you are evolved enough to speak Japanese, you can get into Soul Society. Otherwise you spend purgatory in language classes until you can learn the language and get in.
I dunno…the story is full of freak’n holes…I just want to see Ichigo go all hollow and kick some more ass, and I really want to find out more about his dad.

That's not actually why everyone speaks Japanese. It's much more obvious.
But not everyone in Soul Society is Japanese. The majority aren't, but it looks that way because Kubo-san made it look like feudal Japan.
