lots of smiths wearing suits and not walking. Lots of Bleach characters wearing suits and walking. Lots of Reservoir Dogs characters wearing suits and walking.

Seriously, why is everything a contest with you? The whole thing was irrelevant as soon as I said (...may be lies...) Ok! It was actually based off of Reservoir Dogs! Do you get a prize?

Ok, but there was no point of contention in the first place. You can't win or lose without adversaries.

    Chad is Latino
    Tousen is black
    Ighigo’s mom looks Caucasian
    Orihime looks very Caucasian
    Yoruichi looks Indian (asian)
    Aizen is obviously American
That does not really say much. They may look a certain race, but they carry Japanese names. May I remind you that anyone can color their hair, so yes. And in animes, Japanese people just seem to come in with all sorts of appearances.

I am sorry Jenova, but who are you to come in and say that this thread is pointless. Are you some kind of all wise knowing master of posts in which I must kneel down to you and lick your shoes? All I want is for you guys to give me a little bit of a chance to come up with something to discuss about...Meh. And come on, this isn't so bad is it?

It has a japanesse flavor because thats what manga readers WANT.
Now hold on a second there. I didn't exactly want a western comic book, I just wanted to see if there may be others who monitor the dead much like Japan's Soul Society.

Here is to hoping that the Bleach saga will go international once this Aizen mess is dealt with and the kids graduate although this may be a long stretch.
Oh, that is a very good point brought up. Having different Soul Societies around the world may be an interesting plot potential, but that is just me. Good one, Welmario!

It seems that my point has been made a little unclear to some of you. I fully understand that I am reading a Japanese manga and that of course, it would mostly revolve around Japanese things. However, I just decided to think a little bit out of the box ;P.

Anyways...I really really want to see how others come up with Death gods from other cultures. When I return home, I will be able to use my scanner and show you guys how I portray other culture's death gods ;D.

    Later!

I am someone who has an EXTENSIVE knowledge of Bleach the manga and Bleach the forum. I've seen more pointless threads than this one, before the nuke, months before you even joined in. I've seen more worthy threads than this one. You think I'm some all knowing master of posts? Yeah, if you want to believe it go ahead, I have no problem with it.

And I have no prob for you to come up with something to discuss...as long as it's not based on hypothesis, or indulge in unproductive, useless, meaningless and stupid banter like the ones this thread ask for.

There is diversity in the bleach manga(black, white, asian, latin) because the readers are exactly that, diverse. who'd want to read a manga where there is no diversity.

It's the same thing for movies, there are all kind of races in there. its to promote diversity and non-racism.
