Thread: Grand Fisher

I remember a theory (maybe even fact?) that the Espada all have markings somewhere on their face signifying that they're actually in there and not like the other weak Gillians.

But, I just looked through one of the old chapters and it turns out that Grand Fisher had some markings right under his eyes. Could he actually be Espada?

He was killed in one hit though... so he's too weak, or is Isshin too strong for him? Any thoughts?

Grand Fisher was not anywhere close to Espada. He wasn't even a vastrode. He was just one of Aizen's tests. Whatever theory you had about face markings doesn't really have any visible validity thus far.

The only distinguishing mark between Espada and the rest are A) Their numeral marking and B) their reiatsu.

i think it's juz the character designs or some sheer coincidence. even hollow ichigo oso have markings on his mask.

How could grandfisher be an espada when he was just a regular hollow, not even a menos.
