Thread: Hitsugaya

This is the point where Hitsugaya would have to jump between you two and put you both under arrest.

IMHO Hitsugaya is your classic case of the child genius, who, while he has many responsibilities, doesn't always get the same respect. He constantly has to be stoic because he's afraid that if he shows any sign of immaturity he might lose face. I think he gets embarassed around Rangiku because she sees through his demeanor. I also agree with HTG that they provide a lot of comic relief.

The bigger question is, If Hitsugaya has the strongest Ice type ZP then why is it so friggin weak? I mean even if it isn't fully developed, he should still do a little pwning with the thing, yeah? I'd really like to see him kick ass like he did in the first fight we see him in.

simply put, because the espada are freaking powerful. And having someone too powerful and who's able to easily kill enemies make the manga a little less spicy and more boring

... Hitsugaya has the raw power and genius to produce a bankai and attain the level of captain - and it IS a powerful bankai...

But he is also underdeveloped. He is still a kid and his reiatsu hasn't matured enough to reflect his power in his bankai. As he gets older, he will also get exponentially more powerful.

i wonder how much more powerful he would get in a few more years.....

I think 'few more' is an understatment, I'm under the impression that he only used his bankai atleast twice before he did in episode 60 :/

To fully master it, he would need atleast a decade, and maybe a coupel more to get some nice effects. Also, I think so far he has the strongest ranked Ice zanpaktou according to class. Coz ya know, Soul Society LOVES there class system :d

Keep in mind that Hitsugaya is far, FAR above average for Shinigami. He has gotten his bankai in record time and has been able to draw out its power convincingly, all this way before Ichigo even stepped foot in SS. Hitsugaya didn't get his bankai yesterday and he knows how to use it.

I would imagine that Hitsugaya was what Urahara was like when he was younger.

Yeah, but Aizen owned everyone including Ichigo...

You may be right, but as much as I am a fan of Hitsugaya...Its hard to watch him take pwning from Aizen, Rupi, Yaami, and every other person and still agree xD

Pah hitsugaya is very similar to ichigo in ways. He has lots of potential and has to reach it. After all byakuya has trained for at least 1000 years and while i'm sure hitsugaya is pretty old relative to humans, hes like a baby relative to the other captains. It's just that he has a fast growth rate like ichigo's only not as high and well developed. Bankai only increases current power 5 to 10x. Look at zaraki, he has no power boost but his raw current power is huge thus it overcomes and counters any bonuses in power other combatants get. Put simply hes a lesser version of ichigo.

Yes aizen is strong but i feel that he isn't necessarily unbeatable and has great sword skills (etc). I still go by my theory that aizen is a master manipulater and that his mastery is in demon arts and not sword skills/hand-tohand/footskills (pah too lazy to double check the spelling of the proper names and used the english terms). I mean have we actually SEEN aizen in a proper dogfight where he actually actively battles the enemy instead of just walking up to the enemy and doing one slash. But its quite long and i cbf going over it unless you guys really want me to so badly but even then...
