Gin is Aizen's right hand (and imo the character most likely to betray Aizen at the last second, but that's a totally different issue) and Tousen is his left, but that doesn't necessarily mean Tousen is stronger than Espada 1. It just means that they are the senior members of the team, and have been with Aizen the longest.

i no but thats not the point, im trying to say that ulquirro shouldnt be above a 4 since hes too weak.

Actually, we don't know how strong he is, only that Ichigo at his maximum hollow dominated strength is stronger than him. Besides, nothing's keeping Ulquiorra from training to get better.

The only thing that could make Gin betray Aizen is if Matsumoto is involved somehow. Because it's clear that he cares for her to some extent. If she didn't show up that time, he would of continued fighting Hitsugaya and also when Matsumoto parried his sword, her zampaktou was about to break. They've known each other for a long time. And also it's clear that Matsumoto also cares for him.

He is espada number one. He blocked Urahara's "cry benehime" barehanded and he is has an obviously superior demeanor compared to the others. He was put in charge of the new attack force that includes Grimmjaw's replacement. It also makes sense to introduce number one earlier.
Ichigo's riatsu being stronger then his makes sense as well because Ichigo at max has the biggest riatus in the universe.

You also forget that since Gin's only known motivation is fear of death, that if he were to feel that Aizen was going to lose, he might easily ditch what he viewed as a sinking ship. But as I said, this was just totally random speculation.

Ulquiorra is probably around 5 or 4. It looked to me that the others in Aizen's lair seemed more prominent.

As for Gin and Tousen, there's no point in transforming these two yet. Wait and they could become Reiatsu monsters.

If you think Ulquiorra is Espada #1, Aizen has no chance against both the shinigami and the vaizards (mostly the vaizards)...

i always thought that when Ulquiorra said ichigo was stronger than him, he meant in his unrealesed state.

ulquiorra is like the itachi of bleach.........strong somewat lean and short,shrewd and calculating,avoids unecessary fights,is very strong but may or may not be the strongest in his group.
ulquiorra is mostly number 2 or 3(1 is also a slight possibility)
