Thread: yoruichi's zanpaktou????

dont all shinigami have zanpaktous??????then where is yoruichi's???
she actually made it to captain without one??
ps:any ideas on wat it might be(if u think she has one) will also be appreciated

there was a scene in manga (don't remember which chapter) where they showed a scene where yoruichi and sasuke were training....and i'm most certain she was carring her zanpakutou.

she was a leader of special forces, and they do have some swords (but I'm not actually sure if they are zanpaktous).

one theory is that SoiFong's zanpakuto used to be Youruichi's but I don't remember where I read that.

I personally think that she is like Uruhara and she hides her Zanpakuto. Since Captain+ levels can control the size of the blade she could concievably hide it as a letter opener or a hairpin and then she could carry wherever. But she wouldn't have to use it very much since she is a hand to hand combat master.

Maybe she sized her zanpakutou to be non-existent?

In fact zanpakutous are only the reiatsu of the user, formed in a thing with the intention to kill.

It would be awesome if she could like materialize it outa thin air.

Im pretty sure that Yoruichi, while being a shinigami, doesn't have a zanpakutou. She's a shinigami, yes, but she isn't a member of the Gotei 13. Only those people get zanpakutou... and vizards... and arankal... ya. Anyway, she wouldn't really need one anyway. She was leader of the Keigun Brigade and all that stuff, and has all her hohou and fist-fight skills.

I thought Yoruichi was captain of 2nd... like Soi Fong is now. Perhaps she's hidden it or something; she couldn't carry it as a cat anyway.

Thats what I thought too. She probably does hide it or just doesn't have one. Speaking of the hairpin idea. Orihime has hair pins that are alot like a zakapatou (sorry for the mispelling) according to hutch. Yoruichi is alot like a ninja compared to shinigami being more like a samurai, so I don't see her having a sword that important to her style.
