7. has everyone who is close to him shrouded in mystery and a significant amount of power (isshin, ishida's dad, the little android girl, etc)
8. came up with the method to achieve ban kai in 3 days rather than 10 years
9. could have easily* stopped byakuya (if u dont believe, kill urself) but instead didn't show up until he and renji left (obviously to hide his presence in that area)
10. knew the method of how to bring back ichigo's powers
11. calmly watched as everything happened down in the hole when ichi became a vaizard
12. didn't question the mask (everyone else did...)
13. knows a good deal of inoue's and chad's true potential
14. had enough sense to take inoue OUT of the battle field


Is it not possible that he knew what was going on in the hole...bleach can be said to have two main guys pulling strings: Aizen and Urahara. Ultimately, the showdown imo will be between Aizen and co. vs. Urahara and co.

If there was something Urahara couldn't predict, it was if Ichigo would succeed in becoming a vaizard or become a hollow. But it was worth the try. Bleach is Bleach BECAUSE of Urahara. Ichigo is where he is at today BECAUSE of Urahara. IMHO, urahara is vastly underrated. But OF COURSE we dont know if its fact yet but i think its safe to say that Urahara was not ignorant of what he accomplished.

Eevn so how could he know wheter or not Ichigo would finish the training to become a Shinigami beforehand.

Like i said, it was worth the try. Not to mention that Urahara KNOWS Ichigo's dad (uber strong shinigami!) Soooo, im sure he had more than enough reasons to believe the training would be completed.

well if ichigos father is a prince it aint really that bad. doesnt mean ichigo is royalty. isshin might have been banished from ss cause he had a kid. ss might once again take it against ichigo, or maybe isshin was royalt and ichigos mother was a hollow? YEAH RIGHT LOFL

maybe urahara realized at the last moment that ichigo could become a shinigami with a hollow in him,and decided it would give ichigo a better chance in soul society.(during the hole training,where ichigo regains powers)
he was right about that.

he may or may not have planned it beforehand,but he saw his opportunity and he took the risk.
it can still swing either way,that is he could be pulling strings,or it could be a coincidence.

i would just like to comment slightly on this. were saying urahara knew that ichigo was going to be a vizard or a hollow right? now ichigos dad is a shinigami right? urahara knew that? yes he did. so wouldnt it be plausible also to say that urahara beleived that ichigo would become a shinigami again because of his father? Wouldnt we also be able to say that the hollow was just an extra added benefit urahara wasnt even aware of? thats my comment which i think makes sense but its still an opinion and nothing more. we dont know much about urahara either. so we cant really say why he likse to hide.... maybe hes atoning for a sin or something. speculating that he is a master mind behind is a bit too much.

Just because Ichigo COULD become a Shinigami doesn't mean that he will. Or would have. It's either Shinigami or Hollow, but unless Urahara used that technique on Vaizards, I don't think he would have intentionally turned Ichigo into a Vaizard. The Vaizards were so far away in the story at that point in time that it's possible that KT didn't even think of them.

It was probably a win win situation with Urahara. He probably knew Ichigo wouldn't completely lose to his hollow side because of his history and what not. So it was either Ichigo regains his shinigami powers, or becomes an Vaizard

although that might be his way to get ichigo to do something other than just sit there and lick drool.

ichigo wanted to regain his powers and he was ready to risk everything. couldnt it just be that urahara believes that ichigo on the verge of death will unleash his innate shinigami powers which he knew he had? cant we just say that the hollow part is just a by product. even during his losing to the hollow ichigo just snaps cause hes on the verge of death i dont think theres really any hidden meaning. i might be wrong though.

ichigo's dad is part of an ancient noble family just like byukuya, and is probably not this royal family that you speak of, for all we know, byukuya and isshin could be cousins or something
