Thread: Do ghost eaten by Hollows become Hollows?

In the anime Orihime brother became one just like that but in manga its different. The reason i ask this question since Ichigo mother was kill and possibily eaten by one wouldn't that make her turn into a Hollow too?
By the way i currently reading Volume 9 of the manga so i haven't read the current ones yet.

I think that regular ghosts that are eaten by Hollows just disappear, which is kind of too bad.

nope.. u r wrong.. grand fisher is the one who attacked ichigo's mother... grand fisher is diff with the other hollows.. he had the ability to get inside the body of hollow... even shinigami.. i think u hav read the chapter where kaien dono fought the grand fisher.. grand fisher took over the body of kaien dono.. and started to eat it in the inside... so.. if it's normal hollow.. when they eat others ghost.. they would become hollow as well...

I think that regular ghosts consume to be energy for the hollow...
Like grand fisher become more powerfull after eating shinigami and other hollow...

Um... actually, im pretty sure Im right. hollows form after they can't let go of the real world and their chains open a hole in their chests. Grand fisher is NOT the same hollow as the one who merged with Kaien. That freak is dead. In fact, theyre both dead, but grand fisher at the hands of Ichigo's dad and Kaien at Rukia's.

But to correct you, yes the soul eaten by a Hollow would just dissappear. It's just like when a Quincy kills a hollow it doesnt go to SS, it just gets blown away.

Normally ghosts are devoured by hollows so they cease to exist just like when Quincy kill hollows, their souls dissapear forever unlike shinigami who send souls to SS. Grand Fisher wasn't created by Aizen he was there before aizen started making arracars. He was one of the few hollows who had shinigami powers.

Orihime's brother became a hollow because he was consummed by his own emotions and not by other hollows (the anime screwed it up).

I thought Grand Fisher got "upgraded" by Aizen. I don't think he got created by Aizen.
