Thread: Urahara Bankai

Dang, im hyped about this one.

After random babbling from Renji about Urahara's Bankai, im hoping for a release soon XD

Its gonna kick ass, purely because his Soul Slayer has the word Crimson in it.

Anywho, heres my idea what its going to be.

Starts raining blood (yeah, Slayer style \../), and Urahara can control and manipulate those blood-drops into spikes/swords/sheilds or whatever he wants.

Would be pretty cool, but i dunno, just my random guess, taking idea's from his Soul Slayer's name and Shikai.

Haha...Anyways, one can only guess. I'm sure it will pwn big big big time though.

Like mrhappy said, one can only guess until it's reveiled. My guess is its going to be something thats not a direct attack ability, but still uberly powerful and useful like Aizen's shikai. Really cheap, but also really useful.

Here's a wild guess...Urahara said that his bankai can't lend power...it must maybe be the contrary...

it must nullify the enemy's powers...some paralysis or pure power absorption (yeah yeah yeah, Yumichika has one like that, bla bla bla)

well guys...he has nv used it before rite?my imagination was running wild...maybe he hasnt used his bankai before because his bankai attack can only be used once? say...he sacrifices his life for some uber attack, so powerful it can destroy the world???

It's a good assumption...even though we haven't been said whether or not he's used it before... and his life would be too big, maybe a huge part of his energy, making him vulnerable and weak...

but one thing...to know that it can only be used once (according to what you said, i.e that he'll die) then, how could he have known that if he has never even released it? he must have released the bankai at least once to know what it's capable of

That's true. You can't really learn everything there is to know about your ban kai in one go, unless of course, you're Ikkaku, whose ban kai is nothing more but a giant wrecking ball. He has to have used this thing at least twice, once in discovery ('cause, so far, he hasn't been shown to own something that can tell you what your Ban Kai(-esque) power would be), and once to get more familiar.

It's that or... it sucks the souls of everyone considerably weaker than him and makes an extreme shield.

well...bankai release is not using the attack....remember zangetsu/senbonzakura/zabimaru? releasing the bankai doesnt mean using the attack for the bankai....urahara might have released his bankai and only learned of the type of attack through communication with the zanpakutou itself....

yeah...but what about zaraki? maybe urahara already pwned the previous 12-th division captain with only his shikai...
