Thread: Logical fault in chapter 187

A week ago i discovered Bleach and thought it was a pretty cool manga
Iam at chapter 187
It turns out thhta ichigos father is a Shinigami too but didnt his father and his sisters got attacked by hollows in the first episode?
I mean if he is such a strong shinigami why didnt he defeat the first hollow byhimself?

Anyways maybe i have sumthing wrong in mind and you can correct me.

when she was a child she was the stronger in the class and even in the newest chap she kicked ass..
but before she gave Ichigo her powers a weak hollow kicked her ass..

She wasn't on top. In the Omake she was actually in a worst class than Renji.

she was in a worst class than Renji but she has way potential than Renji. And Byakuya said he was the one who kinda orchastred for her to have any success as a shinigami.

Isshin didn't fight the hollow because I imagine he was in a body that ate his spirit energy and you can't just leave one and suddenly kick ass.

Rukia was weak for the same reason. Against the first hollow she sacrifices herself to save Ichigo. What she did could hurt someone very strong and then for the rest of the series she is in an energy draining gigai.

thats true too, it's because of ichigo that she became like that, also it seems that luck wasn't on her side throughout the series till after the SS arc. She was suppose to get her powers back because Ichigo got his, but then she got imprisonned in that cell that nullify reiatsu. so she pretty much had bad luck. when she finally show what she can do against dee-roy, she easily get gutted by GrimmJaw.

As to Isshen, for the same reason Ichigo never busted out his hollow powers before.

Isshen had no way out of his human body, so even if he knew the hollow was there, as a human, there wasn't much he could do to stop it.

Ehh...I just thought of something: How come he stated that he couldn't see ghosts in the first chapter?

that was a feint, he couldn't reveal himself as a shinigami to Ichigo and his sisters or anybody else for that matter. Also what i wanna know is what happened 20 years ago, because when he was talking to urahara he stated that he hadn't been a shinigami for twenty years and Ichigo is 15 going on 16. What happened 20 years ago?

how do Hitsugaya, Rangiku, Rukia, Renji, Ikkaku get out of their body?? they too are in a gigai. they probably got something like Ichigo's badge which permits him to get out his body. It doesn't have to necessarly be a badge. Also note that Isshin knew that the mod-soul's name was KON.
