Thread: filler question

i've been watching the bleach fillers, which have created an alternate storyline, one that opposes the manga timeline. in the end im positive they'll meet up again. i noticed that the anime filler has a large amount of flashback, so i'm wondering: does the writer give input on the new storyline or is it just made up by different writers?

It's been "stated" somewhere that Kubo writes some bits of the filler.

that's cool. makes it more interesting and the quality is better than most filler.

I read in an issue of Shonen Jump that he only designs some of the filler characters.

If he is designing them, then he probably is giving them some backstory to go with it (Like the whole Ichinose at Zaraki's Captain-Seat winning battle). I personally have been liking the Bleach fillers. And the new op and ed are great too.

yeah i know, compared to the Naruto fillers, the bleach fillers look more like actual story line. Where i can sit down and watch Bleach Fillers, i'll never get within ten feet of a naruto filler.

The bleach fillers are mostly good, but only about half the new characters are at all Kubo-like. However, if he is helping, that does make them at least semi-canon, which is nice to know when you are debating a point.

kinda like Oda helping out with One piece fillers. my question is why didn't Kishimoto help out with Naruto? The current arc of Bleach is about 10+ episodes and lookk like it will last more, but Naruto arcs are about 5-7 episodes: coming up with garbage themes like curry, or bug that can detect sasuke's sent. they mention Sasuke just about every minute, Bleach only mention Aizen once in a while, they didn't even mentionned him in the last couple of episodes.

I have a little problem with this past filler episode though. Ichinose went on par with Ichigo in speed/shunpo and was even owning him. I'm guessing that Ichinose isn't even a VC or 3rd rank. Ichigo beat Kenpachi with no prior training, and so Ichinose could "defeat" the Kenpachi.

Ya, more horrible than the Ichigo > Kenpachi > Tousen > GrimJow > Ichigo link we have right now. Yes, I know that A > B does not mean A > C.

I don't think Ichinose is stronger than ichigo, because even while he was supposedly owning Ichigo, ichigo didn't look fazed, instead looked like he just started, I think that is the reason why Kariya stepped in stopped Ichigo himself.
