Rules
1. All Global Rules apply.
http://www.stoptazmo.com/showthread.php?t=17531
Unless otherwise noted in these rules, follow all the StopTazmo global rules. Yes, these include such things as no convo threads and no sig hentai (NONE). Only thing I am not a big stickler on is use of coarse language. That isn't to say I want to see one of the 7 words you can't say on Television to be the dominant makeup of your sentence though. Keep it to acceptable moderation.
2. This Section IS NOT For Problems Downloading From StopTazmo.com.
If you have problems downloading from this site, post at the "Help Section" forum.
3. Make subjects of posts clear and as descriptive as possible without going overboard.
Having a topic named “Can't Download” really doesn't tell anyone anything. I understand that not everyone has a technical vocabulary, or even knows what the inside of a computer looks like or how many Megabytes go into a Gigabyte. However, it really doesn't need to be all that technical for the subject to be a good topic name.
For example, say you start up your BitTorrent Program and every time you do, the downloads have reset to 0%. Instead of posting the topic, “Help! I can't Download anything!”, post the topic, “Downloads Always Reset to 0%", or better yet, "Downloads Always Reset to 0% in BitLord".
4. Put in as much relevant information into the original post as possible.
Error codes are always helpful. Include what your trying to do and other such information like the program and your internet connection type. You do not need to tell us what you are downloading. I am aware that people download things they shouldn't (see rule
and if you are, do not tell us. You won't receive help then, and I will ban you. For more... READ HERE!!!

5. Please search.
Take the strongest piece of information that you have (error codes) and search for it, you may have a answer already waiting for you. If not, try searching for something a little more general, like “NAT Error”. Getting nothing, then by all means post your question.
6. No Dual Threads and No Bumping
Basically, if you have one thread posting a problem, do not start a completely new thread about the exact same problem. This is a courtesy rule.
Another such rule is No Bumping. If your thread receives no replies for a few days (or is never replied to), do not post just to raise the threads position on the forum. Be patient. If it has been more than a week or so, you can PM me and I will decide on an individual basis if I will delete the thread and allow you to repost the question (this is mostly for those threads that recieve 0 replies, chances are I won't delete something with good information and several responses).
7. Double Posting
You may double post in this section of StapTazmo. This is a rule for this section only. Do not double post in other sections. My reasoning is that an edit does not highlight the topic again if it is looked at between the post and an edit. With a double post, the thread is again highlighted so that further information can be brought to the attention of the people involved with the problem.
8. No Requesting or Posting Links to 'Warez' under any circumstances
Warez is short for any software that is traded in violation of its copyright license (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warez). That means no requesting Windows XP downloads, Photoshop, MS Office, cracked games, or keygens. I don't even want them traded over PM here. Do it elsewhere other than this forum, or not at all. Better yet, look into free alternatives (use OpenOffice.org Suite instead of MS Office, or the GIMP instead of Photoshop). Anyone caught requesting (an insinuation is good enough for me to act), trading, or asking for help downloading Warez here will be permanently banned from StopTazmo.
This isn't a rule, but a suggestion. If your looking through this section and have a little time, pick up a question and run a search on it at google.com or yahoo.com. Most answers don't come off the top of peoples heads (especially ones that are specific to one piece of hardware of software). Even if you know very little about the problem, or what it relates to, give it a shot anyway. If you do come up with an answer, then not only have you helped someone out, but you have also expanded your own knowledge. Trust me. It works.
Also, if those viewing can skim down the list of threads and look for questions with 0 responses, it will be appreciated. I would like to see as many questions answered as possible here.
