Connection problems
Ok, this has been happening a lot lately. everytime I go on a channel, after about 5 minutes I get diconnected, and then a message says
* [10053] Software caused connection abort
Now, I don't remember IRC disconnecting this often before, does anyone know the problem?
Mysterious, no?

try disabling your scripts.
or try using a different host. i had to switch from sysreset to mIRC cause i kept getting that error message.

Sysreset is an addon front end for mIRC that adds a lot of functionality to the program. What Lady CPR is suggesting is that you disable any extras that you have added to your IRC program and try again. If that fails, uninstall it and reinstall the program and try again.
If that still fails, try a different program. Cold-NiTe has a nice list going in one of his guides.
Also, make sure your IRC program is the latest version.
As for solving your error problem, that is damn near impossible. There are so many things that can cause this problem, that there is virtualy no way that anyone can narrow it down and fix it over the internet. Its more or less up to you. Take a look here to get an idea of what kinds of things you are looking for.
