Thread: cant recieve files from a bot

ive set up mirc through reading your tutorials and went to try and ddl off a bot but i got this

-[D-W]Banzai- ** You have a DCC pending, Set your client to receive the transfer. (90 seconds remaining until timeout)

i dont have a firewall running and another thing when i try to ddl off a bot

Tools>options>dcc>ignore

the method changes from disabled to ignore only

Is there an option that says;

"Turn ignore back on in [ ] minutes."

And if so, do you have it turned off?

Do you have a router?

Did the bot you were trying to download off of have a firewall? (The bot, not you. Some people firewall their bots, for whatever reason.)

You can try turning hostmasking off; "/msg hostserv off" or perhaps "//mode $me -h", that helps some people.
