capturing internet explorer download

hi, i hav a question n hope tat somebody noe d asnwer... thanks in advance

1. BT client : bitcomet
2. OS : windows xp
3. i don't think i hav a firewall but im using windows xp sp2
4. no router
5. not assessing from private network

as for question 6 and 7 i dunno wat to answer cos im not downloading using a torrent. my BT client will automatically capture my internet explorer download like files from stoptazmo... i don't have a trouble downloading it but whnever i download thru my bt client and i close d IE browser i canot connect bac to stoptazmo website again and this will carry on for a few days b4 i can get bac into this site...
i am wonderin by downloadin thru my BT client izit d same as using a download manager?? izit bcos im using d BT client tat's y im blocked from entering d site...

ok I have 3 points to this.

1) all downloads from stoptazmo are direct downloads you shouldn't have to use bt to download anything from this site.

2) your bt might have a virus of some kind, try getting a new version or getting a whole new bt client.

3) your browser might be the cause try deleting your cookies, or getting another browser like firefox.

if nothing works I don't know whats wrong.

Yeah, I'd uninstall the BT client and try re-installing. Something is causing it to capture the downloads. If IE7 is fucked up, then that's probably a system wide thing (if I remember right for IE's file associations). Best bet is to un-install Bitcomet, reboot, see if the downloads are ok again, then install bitcomet again, test downloads, and make sure things are ok. It should work at some point in that process. :S

Also, per the help section's top recommendation, try right clicking the file you want and use 'Save As' or 'Save Target As' from the context menu, if worse comes to worse.

current im using d d 'right click save target as' to download...

oh well...thats damn easy. i'm using bitcomet 0.93 but for others this will work as well..go to options, preferences and in the http/ftp part disable the capture ie downloads...and its all settled.
