I've tried so many different programs and they either slow up my computer or not work at all. Where can I find the newest version or atleast somethin I can get torrents with?

you can decide on some of those programs, like in BitComet, how much of your RAM memory it will use - it might slow down the download speed but won't slow up computer.
I use µTorrent on my laptop and it works fine - no slowing down nor anything (although I do have 1GB RAM on it...).
Basic BitTorrent works quite nice too...
How much RAM do you have?
I use Azureus and it causes me no problems.
I have 512 ram and it runs perfectly.(except for some virus-caused problems)
If you have low performance pc, try ABC, it's a very simple client and works ok.
Check this too.

BitTorrent Inc launched their rebranded version of uTorrent as BitTorrent 6.0. The good news is that uTorrent and its community will not be replaced. Not now, and not in the future.

can u help me. im using bitcmet and when im downloading torrents the icon is always yellow they say my listen port is blocked
I believe you might have problems with your router. Most routers needs to have port openened to allow some programs to be used - get into your router options, check in settings which port the BitComet uses and then try to open this port with your router settings program (mostly it's ADD PORT and ENABLE IT - you need to copy-pasta the port number).
Read the sticky thread on Port Forwarding, or go to this site: portforward.com and pick your router model. It will give you a step-by-step to get your port working for using bittorrent.
