I wasn't sure which forum this should go on, but I guess it's most appropriate that it go here.
As I'm sure most of you are aware, the RIAA is going on a spree with colleges and universities for copyright infringement.
I'm a little curious how the detection process works. Everywhere I've looked has just talked about "p2p software" as a general thing.
Personally, if was ever going to dl music, BT would be my client of choice.
My school network is complying with the RIAA.
My wireless internet requires a login.
How do you think my school network logs traffic? Does it log certain types of traffic differently? (IRC vrs. LimeWire vrs. BT vrs. HTTP, etc)
So... let me know. And read into what I'm saying here.
