Thread: How do I make a torrent?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum... Wasn't sure which one to put the question in...

I want to seed a final year project that I filmed... but it is 7 freaking gig... so passing it through msn is not gonna work...

I'm not really tech savvy... so please don't use too much jargon explaining... I wouldn't understand...

Moving this to IRC/BT, btw... I understand that it's not really a download issue, but any IRC/BT questions are best in there. That's where the client lists and config information is kept on this forum.

edit : wow its a lot simpler than I thought it would be... but for some strange reason I can't connect to my own tracker to seed it.... anyone have any idea why this is so?
edit edit : I sent the torrent to some one, and it show zero peers and zero seeds...

uhh... I'd try a different tracker. The 0 peers and 0 seeds would be right if you can't connect. Remake the torrent with a different tracker. If that doesn't work, post back again, and I'll look into it a little deeper. (IE, I'll actually try it. XD )
