    Default Help!BitComet Problem!

I was downloading the whole Ouran series. They are 88.3% completed, and today,i went home, and resume downloading. However,it started to drop in percentage.Like,88.3% drop to 82.1% and down and down. So,i close the task and then i delete the task only and open the torrent file and download it again.(I save the files under the same destination so they should resume the downloading,i always do that). But it doesn't work!It became 0%,meaning i have to download everything AGAIN.It took me so long to do it,i can't afford to lose it.Can someone tell me the problem here?

I know that, that sometimes used to happened when I used BC like 3 years ago thought they fixed it by now lol. Anyway, if you download many stuff at the same time like you do now. And if you change any or delete one of those files this happens with BC, or atleast it was that way when I used it. So my recommendation to you is change BC to Azureus or uTorrent.

But something else might have caused the problem too couldn't think of anything else then that.

Did you change the original partial file? Even a slight change in the name of the folder will result you in redownloading the entire file. I never heard of this problem before, try getting the latest version of Bitcomet (0.83 I think).

You can try resuming it with Azureus if you direct the torrent to the same directory with the same file names.

Azureus will resume it. Just load up the torrent file and point it to download to the same exact place as where you were downloading to with BC (IE C:\TorrentData or something like that you know). You can even start the torrent in stop mode on azureus and then right click it and select 'force hash check' or something like that... it will then read and total up the data.

For BitComet partials: Before resuming a torrent started with BitComet, remove the .bc! extension from every file. This also applies to other torrent clients which append an extension to the partial files.
I don't use BitComet, but give it a try anyway, and give this a read...

i think your destination files isn't correct. Currently i use bitcomet 0.84, as loong as partial file still exist it can be resume. Maybe you can use utorrent if you confuse with bitcomet work
