That means you have to go to your options window in mIRC, and make some adjustments. See this;

File | View | Favorites | Tools | Commands | Window | Help

at the top?

Select Tools. You will see this drop down menu;

Channels List
Scripts Editor
Send File
Chat
Recieved Files
Log Files
Address Book
Online Timer
Finger
Options

Select Options. You will see a window with this list of words at the left, in the white space. Like so;

[+]Connect
[+]IRC
[+]Sounds
[+]Mouse
[+]DCC
[+]Display
[+]Other


Click [+]DCC on the + sign so that it expands and the menu looks like this;

[+]Connect
[+]IRC
[+]Sounds
[+]Mouse
[+]DCC
|-Options
|-Folders
|-Ignore
|-Fserv
|-Server
[+]Display
[+]Other

Now click on DCC, not the + sign but the words, and set the following settings.

On Send Request:
(*)Auto-get file and...

On Chat Request:
(*)Auto-accept and...

BTW you do not have to select minimize.

Now look back at the words in the white area on the left of the window;

[+]Connect
[+]IRC
[+]Sounds
[+]Mouse
[+]DCC
|-Options
|-Folders
|-Ignore
|-Fserv
|-Server
[+]Display
[+]Other


Select Ignore. Set the following settings;

Method:
Disabled

...

[ ]Turn ignore back on in:
...

BTW, Ignore needs to be disabled. And you need to have the "Turn ignore back on" box unchecked so it doesn't enable itself automatically.
