Thread: Bittorrent Clients

Which bittorrent client do you guys recommend? I used the original bittorrent for a while, and now I'm using Azereus. Is there another program I can use to get faster download speeds?

your download speeds will depend on the setup of your network and your internet capabilities. I haven't found enough of a difference to worry about it between clinets. Azereus is one of the best, without breaking any rules that I know of (although some ask you shut off DHT... because... they want to know every place the torrent goes or something).

Azureus and uTorrent are the best. Currently I use utorrent cuz it doesn't take up as much memory as Azureus does.

Ah yes... but on the other hand I don't feel like getting uTorrent running under WINE either. XD

It also depends how well you can tweak your client to maximize performance.
