    Default berserk sucks

I just want to say that berserk turn to really bad events , and i miss those older volumes , i mean before those funny characters shows up and the story goes bad scenarios , i just miss the drama and the old guts

p.s this manga takes like forever before a new chapter show up

    how disappointed berserk

Miura is a great mangaka and we can`t predict what he`s going to show us in the future. Maybe this is the magic of berserk. Normally in mangas the good fights evil , a lot of battles and blood and at the end the good prevail . This is boring becouse we have seen this in countles anime and mangs. What if this manga is outside of the "contour" , where the good and evil take diferent paths and the story takes many diferent paths ?

You should put the manga down for a year or longer, wait for the volumes to compile and then read them in succession.

The thing is, you didn't start reading Berserk at it's inception and by the time you got a hold of it you were able to read multiple chapters and volumes and get whole arcs at a time, whereas now you get next to nothing as it takes months for each release.

This type of progression in story would be boring and mostly frustrating for anyone who jumped into the series when it was already in full swing as you very likely did.

Leave it alone for a while, then come back and appreciate it as a story and not as random characters, arcs and events. The things that are happening now are profound to the story, it's just taking forever for them to play out.

Calling it bad based on the things you mentioned offers no forethought.

Old volumes weren't any better than the new ones (who are way more beautiful drown by the way), it's just that the story is evolving and *you* don't like the way it's heading to.

How would you have liked the story to go ? Old Guts beating monster after monster, all alone, until he was able to beat Griffith's ass ?

I think that, indeed, the chapters HAVE changed. Just look at how many "information" the reader gets: there is just fighting and nothing else. Normally they speak more
I get the feeling that Miura's not the one drawing any more...!

Edit: Oh, Jeez, I haven't read chapter 301 as I said that. The characters are talking again, hurray!

^ It was the case for a few chapters as Miura wanted to impress us before the majesty of this confrontation (and hopefully it will end soon so we will be able to see the elf kingdom )
