Thread: So, It's been about 90 days....

I checked Baka-updates recently to see who the groups scanlating Berserk were and they have the last released chapter by any of them as 90 days old. Baka-updates is usually pretty reliable in my experience so.... Is the author taking yet another break, or are the scanlating groups getting lazy?

It's another break. The next chapter hasn't been published in a magazine yet, and nor has a preview either, meaning that it won't be for at least two issues yet.

It's taking a bloody long time. 10 months since the last volume was released...

Even tho, everytime we do get a chapter the art is as always as stunning and we forget all our hate.

Of all the manga that I follow, Berserk is probably my favourite. 10 months may be a little excessive, but I'm willing to forgive Muira considering how stunning the art is and how well written the characters are.

Be happy that the only complaint that you have with the manga is the time between releases.

berserk is an awesome manga and its sad that one day it will have to end...

but it will be a happy day when i can read it from start to finish without having to stop and weight a year for new info XD

but yeah, 'it takes forever for publishing' isnt that big a deal, i tend to forget to check berserk since im reading other manga anyways

So I went back and had a look at the publishing dates for all the Berserk volumes I have... Volumes 7-31 all came out pretty well 6 months apart from each other.

Volume 32 was 14 months behind 31.

And now, Volume 33 is announced for next month, which will be an 11 month gap.

I wonder if this is a bump in the road, or an indication that this is the pace we'll be getting from here on out?

Do we have any idea why it's taking this long for the manga to come out?

I love how that interview with Muira - the one that posted here a little while back - gave the impression that the guy worked from sun up to sun down, seven days a week on Berserk. Somehow, I just ain't buying that.

Looks like he already bore made berserk but too bad he forgot that the story still far from end

well 10 months is really excessive, but we'll always adore this ones'helluva manga!

i didnt know berserk, until last week - and, to be honest, I was stunned. The story and the art is wonderful developed.

Waiting is the work and release is the charity!
