Thread: So since this place hasn't really seen any activity..

I just thought I'd share a drawing that was decently received over at another forum. It's from November, and I haven't drawn since (not that I drew all that much at all to begin with, due to my busy schedule at the time), so it ain't all that swell but.. I've just got the most free time on my hands now until like September so I thought I'd get it evaluated...

Yeah, a lot of the stuff besides the face looks really odd looking back to it now, but it was practically my first Berserk fanart ever and I was fairly proud of it at the time being like 12, so...

Yeah, my anatomy on the chest and such are a bit off, same with the positioning, but eh, for just some little doodle I drew on the back of my SAT sheet it looked ok (Minus HOW HUMONGOUS the sword is from right to left), so comment away, peoplez.

A bit off? It's all wrong. You clearly have no comprehension of basic muscle structure and anatomy. Go back to studying and improving your foundations, get Andrew Loomis books or Vilppu videos. Do more figure drawing and drawing from life.

Hey, hey, hey. Keep that shit out of my thread. It was just your average fan works I did when I was a loon and barely out of Middle School (and still a Berserk fan, not at all now, except volumes 7-9) with no lessons and such, and I hadn't drawn since a year prior, this one done in bed and gone over in pencil. Of course it wouldn't look like some godsend of all that is anime/manga; I was barely in my fucking teens and been having issues, jesus christ. The left arm and chest (as I've reiterated) are off, the right doesn't 'feel' quite the way it would in that particular angle, and the legs and foundation are crap, but I'm just looking to garner some better criticism than "OLOLGOBACKTO//A//URFOUNDATIONSSUCK." Flame-bait ain't getting you far, Jack, and... let's just keep it at that, and avoid jumping out and pouncing on each other at first glance. Yes, it's at best a half-decent fanart of a middleschooler's with little drawing experience, looking back to it, but...

Ah hell, why do I even bother?

In spite of all that, I still do like the face, for what it's worth.
