Thread: Funny questions

Hi, I've got 2 funny questions ^^

1. When Griffith is caught in the tower, there are some beings creeping towards him and kissing his hands. they pretty much look like the disabled child of Cascas/Griffiths/Gutts'. What are they? Are they really just to announce Griffith his demon rise? Perhaps there is more behind it?

2. There is something seemingly very important, which needs a closer look. There is this strange mask wearing being, all in black, floating around (having no feet?). It defends Griffith once. But it says: "I will kill you!". WTF is it!? Can anyone guess?

Can you give us some pictures or chapter references? Because I personally don't recall the scenes/people you speak of.

That´s Rakshas, an exiled from the Kushan clan of Bakiraka. Like the Apostles he was guided by an Oracle foreseeing the coming of the White Hawk but the thing that makes him distinct from the Neo Hawk band is that he´s human. It seems that he wants to kill Griffith at some point. It´s clear that he´s not very sane.

1. Nope, there's nothing more behind it. They're just random monsters which are so lowly that they don't even have a form.

2. If it's the character I'm thinking of, he's just another of the stronger apostles that joined Griffith's new Band of the Hawk. As for him saying he'll kill Griffith, remember that none of the apostles have the kind of personality which would allow them to follow someone as a servant. Even Zodd didn't willingly join the Band of the Hawk, it's just that each and every one of those apostles knows they could never rise to become the strongest as long as Griffith is alive, so the next best thing they can do is stand by his side as his servants. I'm sure this masked character could never actually harm Griffith but he still gave Griffith that warning because he is unwilling to acknowledge the fact that he's Griffith's servant now. If you've ever watched/read Rurouni Kenshin, it's the exact same scenario as Usui joining Shishio but constantly reminding him that he would kill him the moment he showed a weakness. Usui knew deep down inside that he wasn't strong enough to kill Shisho but refused to acknowledge it.

3. Those weren't funny.


EDIT: Rakshas is human? I didn't think that was possible with the sorts of things he's capable of. Then again, none of those Kushan really seem human anyway, do they...
