i think the latter option would be the best here...

In no particular order:

Guts: Kinomoto Sakura
Casca: I would say Shaoran Li, but that would cause some difficulties regarding the baby. Maybe we just let it be weird?
Puck: Cerberus, of course
Schierke: Daidouji Tomoyo
Griffith: difficult decision. Most obvious is either Shirou Kamui or Monou Fuuma.
Princess Charlotte: whichever of the above isn't Griffith, maybe?
Farnese: Sakurazuka Seishirou
Serpico: Sumeragi Subaru
Isidoro: not really sure. Maybe Kobayashi Koutarou?
Evarella: Spinel Sun

Any other obvious choices?
