Thread: Berserk video, possible new info?

After catching up to 288 I decided to watch the anime now and while browsing on stage6 (my fav stream site) I found this clip to the 2nd Berserk game for PS2. Now I saw the video of the 1st game which seemed to be a "filler arc" with some strange girl with pig-tails so I'm not sure if this has filler elements to it. If it doesn't, since it has the sword graveyard with Zodd/Griffith, it might have some revalations of whats to come. It shows a mysterious youth at 2:16 and 2:28, wonder who? Also at 1:35 it shows the original band of the hawk members then shortly after a battle against them with current-day Gatts. Would be cool if that has something to do with quelling his anger towards Griffith so the Berserker armor doesn't always consume him when he thinks of Apostsles/Griffith/The band of the Hawk.

Then again I may be thinking too much of this but it's still a cool video. Also since I'm fairly new with the Berserk forum can someone tell me how frequently new chapters/episodes are released and whether it's more popular to call him Gatts here or Guts/Gutts since his katakana is Ga-t-tsu.

Guts. It's the official Romanization, according to Miura himself.

The mysterious youth you saw, if I recall correctly, is an Apostle who can create illusions. He forces Guts to fight illusions of the old Band of the Hawk members.

What episode was he in? Or is he a filler character for the game.

He's filler made for the game, unless he is something which Miura is going to add into the manga in the future. I don't think so somehow.

He's not in the manga. However, I do believe he is considered canon, due to Miura's involvement in the game. I could be wrong, though.
