Question In two places at once ? *Possible Spoilers*

I just started reading this series so if this question has already been addressed in the past sue me. It's pretty ovicious that the boy on the beach is Guts and Caskas son ,but how can he be there ? Isn't he part of Griffiths new body still ? P.S. I would have put links in ,but I can't until I get 10 or more post on here so

I hate to break it to you; but we don't know that yet. There's nothing that's proven that point, and only things that disprove it.

Either way; I do agree that we're meant to question it - cause I asked the same question.

I'm open to opinions or facts that prove or disprove my thoughts on the subject so I'll rephrase my statement until it is verified. It seems that the kid could possibly be theirs.

The two main reasons I made this statement.
    1) He seemed to have the ability to scare the croc away. Preventing it from entering the shack and protecting Caska like the tainted child use to do.
    2) Before Guts was able to kill everyone in his berserk state a spirit stopped him and even Guts thought later it was the child who stopped him. Again reminded me of the tainted child's desire to protect Caska.

I too believe the boy is the son of Casca and Guts. The only problem I can see preventing myself from fully believing so is the transformation of the child from appearing to be a monster to appearing to be a normal child. The last time I remember actually seeing the child was during v20ch11pgs227-229. This further complicates the difference because it shows the egg swallowing the demon child and telling it to have a nice dream.
As to the point about the boy being the light that stops Guts from slaughtering his fellows, the light was most definitely the witch, Shierke who was in a trance state after saying, "I will pull him back." (v28ch241pg121) After the light comes in front of guts to stop him, the light goes into further detail to actually show the witch is the one talking.

It hasn't been confirmed who or what the boy is yet ,but the idea of him being their kid is very unlikely based on the fact there son is part of Griffith now. I do agree with part about the boy being the flame that stop Guts so Shierke could pull him back that time on the beach though. Guts didn't even see her until after it touched him.
People are just like dice, we throw ourselves into our lives. Some just get a better roll than others.

The boy is Griffith, in a manner of speaking.

The entire theory is outlined over at Skullknight. Basically, in the tank release, Miura added a page to the Moonlight Child chapter. After the Child is gone, we get a page of Guts turning around, looking at the cliffs behind him, and seeing a familiar outline at the top...Zodd. It takes a very careful eye, but you can see it. The child is obviously what Guts' and Casca's child would have been were it not for Griffith contaminating it. It isn't called the "Moonlight" Child for nothing...it appeared during the full moon. You might notice that Miura had a full page shot of Griffith staring up at the moon in a later chapter.

The implication? Griffith turns into the Moonlight Child every full moon, and he had Zodd follow him to make sure everything was alright.

Further evidence is that the Moonlight Child is a "superior being", and the only other superior being we know of is, you guessed it, Griffith.

The theory is better explained at Skull Knight, but that's the gist of it.

I agree that the boy is Caska's child, I think after he merge with Griffith, He can change back into himself when there's a fullmoon

never thought of that like this... i always assumed griffith and the child split up into 2 permanently some time later. guess this makes more sense. should make up an interesting plotline.

I agree with Griffith and the moon child are sharing space/same body theory. There are lots of evidents that point in this direction. The fact that two people were absorbed by the egg appostle (Griffith+ Caska & Gut's Son) but only one emerged. Griffith. Also the scene where Griffith places a hand to his chest after meeting up with Gut's and Caska again and asks "Are these your feelings?" Who's feelings? The moonchild's who else. Yeah they're sharing a body and like someone said the kid can only come out at certain times IMHO.
