Thread: Berserk Vs. 300

I saw 300 just recently and I can't stop thinking about it resembled Berserk in many way as I watched it.

I kind of liked 300 a bit more since the concept was good and so were the enemies and the fighting styles of the Spartans. I liked how the backgrounds were digitally altered to give the movie the atmosphere and color to match what was happening in the story.

Which do you guys think is better?

Berserk has a plot. A GOOD plot. Plus it won't be forgotten for a long time, since it's ongoing. 300 was a pretty decent movie in some ways, especially with the backgrounds and whatnot, but it has nothing on the complexity of Berserk.

Although "tonight we dine in hell" was good, I prefer Berserker. At least I know that Guts is fighting with monsters and those monsters looks like monsters, while in 300 we have Persians who look like retarded ninjas which stole monsters from Lord of the rings.

lol, at first glance, i thought this was a BAND OF HAWKS VS 300 SPARTANS thread. i think Band of Hawks would win, 'cause Guts Dragonslayer could probably cut through their shields.

the story of berserk is way better then 300. i saw this film this week and its ok. but t truly never reminded me of berserk.

it is hard to compare a movie of 1h and a half and a manga which has been going on for decades....
If i had to pick one it would be Berserk, but the comparison really isn't fair :O

Stupid comparison and a stupid movie. Read some history on Spartans it is more interesting trust me.
