Okay, I admit it. I used to think the allegations against Tazmo/NarutoFan/DirectManga were untrue and unfounded.

Until one day when I was looking for Death Note information, I innocently typed in www.deathnote.org AND was sent immediately to the "NarutoFan> Manga PLUS! Downloads" main site.

Which basically destroyed any shred of trust I had left.

So this is where the money goes...buying out domain names (that would have otherwise gone to non-profit informational fansites about a great series like Death Note) so that stupid, innocent Death Note fans will fall into the "Manga PLUS member" trap--thinking that this is the only place where they can get direct download Death Note chapters, and that, hey, $8 a month is not so bad....

Frightening, because the same thing would have happened to me if a friend had not introduced me to StopTazmo in time.

(BTW, it's www.death-note.org for a French site on Death Note; too bad I can't read French)

Damn that sucks. when did this happen anyway?

It first happened about a week ago, but...it's not exactly a one-time thing.

If you type in www.deathnote.org right now, you'll be sent to DirectManga (correction: what used to be known as DirectManga).

No joke, thats nuts. I wonder what other domains he has under his belt...

That happened about a year ago. Deathnote.org, if I'm not mistaken, was owned by directmanga until they shut it down and set it to redirect to DirectManga. Since DirectManga redirects to NarutoFan PLUS!, Deathnote.org will, naturally, go there.

i dont know about u guys but on the NF site u have to pay if u want to download manga and im broke and i dont want to pay any. do any of u guys have to pay any money? let me kno cuz if u dont and u can still download manga for free then im gonna be piss.

Don't fucking double post. On topic, Tazmo has about 30 domains under his belt, none of which I am at jurisdiction to list. He IS a beast, and he needs to be stopped. Did you think this site was a joke?
