I dont think so. Prob another ruse. Hes gonna say he needs more donations to get new servers >.< Bastard. If he does that, i will hate him. Before i thought he was just a bastard, but now if he does what i said, i'll hate him.

He says he ordered a new server from Dell...which means he's either colocating or running it from home. I'm guessing he just bought himself a new computer, and is calling it a server; whether he will use it for the site is up to debate. Why else would you buy a server from Dell? They're not expensive, but they aren't exactly budget, either. Colocation is a lot more expensive than getting a dedicated server from a hosting company, too.

Another month of the year 2005 has gone in to the history books and on comes April. It's amazing how fast the days go by now, before we know it, it will be May, June and the Summer holidays. This month was a successful month for NarutoFan.com, seeing our largest growth yet with over 40,000 new members in just one month, and we are happy to welcome all of them in to our little community. The month did not go by smoothly though seeing just over 20 hours of downtime spread over 2 days nearly two weeks apart, it seems we have exhausted all of the computer resources on this server and thus will be moving to a much more powerful Dual Xeon server from Dell, which is en-route to the colocation center now, at the very beginning of this month to help support our growth. That should be exciting! All of the NarutoFan team looks forward to advancing in to the future, with you together.
(he says hes getting a server from dell, a more expensive one. also his donations is at 750 dollars for the month, what a gip)

and just as a little aside, i wonder who is behind all the ddos attacks against www.baka-updates.com. Im sure ppl could jump the gun and blame one another but i really wanna know, and then castrate the bastards.

And with that statement, Tazmo has proved he doesn't have "a crapload" of servers as someone else stated in this thread.

If he has 8+ servers as claimed, a Dual Xeon won't do him a whole lot of good.

    -sigh-

WestNileGray|Baka: I wouldn't be surprised if it was Tazmo himself if baka-updates is Naruto related. Someone just pointed me to some evidence that paints Tazmo as being the one behind the DDOS'ing of various Naruto-related websites. Even if it wasn't he himself who did it, he -did- pay some script-kiddies to do it.
