    Default Stop Tazmo? What for?

Yeah, so I'm hearing all about Narutofan and how they're scammers. Someone care to tell me..., in a logical way..., how they are scammers?

Because all I saw while lurking this site was a bunch of idiots making personal attacks on Tazmo that don't make the slightest bit of sense.

    Yeah, so tell me.

Check the sticky threads, those have most of the real accusations.
Dear cousin choppitychop89, you were a good relative, though I hardly knew ye.

Yes, there in the stickies, but.. are you sure you really want to get into this? I mean really? When I joined this site, I too asked this same question and recieved the same answer. Reading the stickies will tell you the accusations but finding the actual warrants for the claims made took me over four hours of reading every post made however many months ago (things like this are important to me....I was a debate geek in school). even after that I'm still not entirely satisfied, so just a warning! Don't expect a legal brief.

    Equally, I don't know you're a scammer. You're too good.

Okay, I found a few issues about Tazmo:

    1) He makes a few thousand dollars a month.

I run Hentai Euphoria. I don't pay for the hosting though, because Numbus was kind enough to handle all the payments for me. Still, I know full well the amount of money required to run a site on the scale of narutofan.com and directmanga.com. It requires more than "a few thousand dollars" a month. The server that my site, along with a bunch of other sites, will return to be hosted on will cost Numbus at least a thousand a month, AT THE MINIMUM (my site is current down because the idiot data centers sold off the servers without our knowledge). Given that Tazmo may have lied about his eight servers, and allegedly only has three, it will still cost him US$4000~5000 A MONTH.

None of you here have ANY IDEA about the costs of running sites in the large scale.

    2) He buys porn/pedo porn

That's a personal attack. I have my own unique tastes in sex and whatnot, and no one has the right to call me a scammer for my tastes in sex. Thank the Gods he doesn't sue you for defamation.

    3) He distributes stuff that isn't done by him/he sells free fansubs.

Let's get this straight. Tazmo always post BOTH links to the Narutofan Plus! download, AND a link to the fansubber's torrent site. It's not as if he ain't giving you the option for a free download of Naruto.

What does this mean? He's selling direct downloads, at higher speeds your miserable torrents will never achieve(especially older files). He's not selling you fansubs, one by one. He's making you pay for bandwidth, not the individual files. US$3.50 per month for 5.0GB of downloads, with the option to purchase more if you want. He's not making you pay US$3.50 for every episode of Shuffle!.

He's selling direct downloads, not the movies itself. Get that straight.

    4) He steals donations to buy himself a new laptop.

Again, none of you here have ever ran a site similar in scale to Narutofan or Hentai Euphoria. I'll tell you one thing, the laptop/computer you use makes a MASSIVE difference in making things work. Extra HDD space, faster processing, less crashes, better web editors can be run are just a few advantages of a good laptop. I used to run HE from a laptop that's at least 7 years old. Now I'm using a brand new laptop. The difference can be felt. You may not like it that he's saving time in making the site, instead of slaving the extra time to provide you with downloads, but the man has the right to conveniences.

    5) He refuses to show proof of his PayPal transactions, so he must have something to hide!

Like his fucking privacy? I guess no one here realizes the amount of information that can be revealed based on a screenshot of your PayPal transactions. Every single last move you made in the last six month with your money is revealed in those simple screens. That includes what he is buying from online retailers, which allows people to make accurate speculations as to what is going on in his very home.

Plus, using that logic, we can say that he isn't going to show proof because he is absolutely confident to himself of his innocence. He doesn't need to give a fuck about you, and accusing him based on his refusal to post screenshots of his private life is just absolutely asinine.

    6) Tazmo's (Wife Beater) Attacks Against the Anime Community

And absolutely no proof was given. I'd put this on equal level with magical elves making the world spin on the "Believe-O-Matic" Scale.

7)"If any of you have ever talked over AIM, you will notice he sounds like a jerk and acts better than you because of his large site, yet he is the one who dropped out of school and spends his whole live on the computer because he has no real friends. "

Again, absolutely NO PROOF. But this part is interesting nonetheless, as the Tazmo bashers actually admit that his site is large, linking it to my point in no. 1.

Also, the later parts of the sentence are just plain personal attacks, and doesn't really give me any faith in whoever runs this site.

    Server Fraud

I did ping the URLs mentioned. Guess what? They don't exist. Someone got their URLs wrong. I'll give this person the benefit of the doubt and not say he made the URLs up.

Oh, and those wondering how to ping a server:

Go to "Start", "Run" and type "cmd" in the command box without the quotes. A command window will appear, and type "ping <insert URL here>".

So yeah, I've not seen anything credible here. Care to point me in the right direction?

It does not cost even close to that amount, he spends maybe $1000-$1500 (if that) on servers per month.

C'mon, dothack, no fair using logic. I mean, when a bunch of people get together to hate a single person as a group, they don't want any logic ruining their fun.
