jaiitup payed for a service for a year and now the service he payed for is being cancelled prematurely. This is EXTREMELY bad business.

Doesn't matter if there are other options available. Tazmo is running off with this person's money, and giving them nothing.

There shold be a manga called Tazmo Note, and all names of anime/manga websites written shall die by a merge of Tazmo in 40 seconds.

Please reply. God, I've been having such a hard time trying to get Drectmanga to cancel my account. They just seemed to be ignoring me. I've seriously had a bad time over this. I'll be very happy if mines been canceled for good and ever.

Though I am very sorry to hear of the posters loss. I'm glad you didn't donate more.

at first, i thought directmanga was quite nice by giving the manga for free and they only charged for people who wanted to use a faster server.

but then since around July their "public server" went down and their staff said that it was down because of a regular maintenance, though as long as i remember it never went up again.

Does it really need months to do a regular check up on your server??? Or was it because they didnt have any intention to serve manga for free (because they just wanted all the money from directmanga total account??

GOD!! I wish things are the way it used to be where people enjoyed scanlation, provided them as fanservice, not hoping for donations, etc..

as for IRC, IRC is a great place to find manga but not all people can use it, and people in most developing countries have problems with IRC because their connections don't support it. (that includes me )

I hate IRC. It's an aging piece of crap, whose usefulness is outwearing itself. Even when you know how to use it, it's a hassle.

That said, there are many other ways of getting manga besides IRC. Manga is the easy part. There are thousands of places to download it.
