This is not actually related to Tazmo, but I don't think there's a proper section for this. So, since the idea is quite similar, I guess it'll work.
Anyway, before I get started I've got to point out that MH's exact intention has not yet been disclosed (even if it looks fairly obvious). That, and I've relied on MH before a lot (particularly for raws). So, I find this particularly sad.
It seems MH have developed a business plan similar to that of Tazmo's and CrunchyRoll's. However, the difference here is that they tried to stablish a partnership with Viz. Please check this thread from MH.
You can read their entire business plan here.
Here's FoOlRulez thought's on the matter.
This is what the founder of MH said on this matter.
Personally, not only do I find this really sad, since MH was indeed a very useful site, not only for readers, but also for independent scanlators, but the idea that they are trying to make money out of people's free work is unacceptable. I'm fairly sure that if any of the scanlation groups, or independent scanlators wanted to make money out of their work, they'd have already done it. Hopefully, this won't turn into a major issue.
Will there be a "StopMH.com"-forum?
