Hi,
I noticed your website and appreciate its message. I can personally attest to the clandestine, unethical ways in which Tazmo handles things as I have had a business deal sour with him in the past. I'm not sure, but maybe you'd appreciate hearing about it.
Years back my girlfriend and I ran an online Naruto Cosplay store from our home. We worked hard every day on our products and wanted badly to promote ourselves via the net. I contacted Tazmo from Naruto Fan and set up a business deal with him. I would send him a nice bundle of our products (free of charge) to be used in a Naruto Fan Halloween contest. He would post the contest and, of course, drop a link to our store to help promote us. Basically Naruto Fan would have awesome prizes to give its members and our store would get high end promotion. A scratch your back, you scratch mine kind of deal.
We sent him over $100 worth of products. Then we waited. Halloween came and went. Months went by and still the contest was never posted. Over and over I emailed him, asking him what was going on and received no reply. More time passed and finally I began to feel like he kept the products for himself. I felt as if I had been scammed.
Like many others, I began to notice that Naruto Fan was gearing up back then to charge people for content that they didn't own the rights to. I noticed what you and only a handful of others did - that Naruto Fan was being made into a money making business instead of a "For the fans, by the fans" community. I began to shake things up a bit by questioning people on Naruto Fan if they felt they were getting ripped off. The community freaked out over my questions. Tazmo was informed immediately by everyone and I got a response from him. I suppose I got his attention finally.
He IMed me and told me (And I'll try to quote this the best that I can), "lol I was going to post your items but now i'm not going to lol." It was something like that. I told him that was fine and that he was a sloppy business man and obviously a child. I told him that he had to send me my items back. He agreed to this.
Of course he never sent them back. I hounded him for months about it and he finally stopped responding. He kept our products and never even dropped us a thank you or a link. Tazmo is a common thief. I know there is all kinds of rumor, mystery, and ambiguity floating around about his schemes and business ethics, but let it be known that in my story Tazmo blatantly stole items from me and disregarded our business deal from the start. There is no doubt in my mind as to what kind of person he is and I hope this story helps better piece together the way he does business.
If anyone ever had a doubt that Tazmo was a thief let it now be undone.
He stole from me.
Thanks for reading and for helping to educate people about how Tazmo does things.
Take care.
