This forum gives too many importance to Tazmo....

All you're doing with this bashing is giving Tazmo too many importance i mean who really cares what Tazmo is doing with the money he got from NF?? Isn't that a business anyways?? He's not putting a gun in the head to all those kids to get the money, it's up to those kids if they want to give him money or don't, and it seems that everyone here is so pissed off with him because you got banned from that site, how idiotic can that be?

This site is really great, you get free manga, but is a shame what you have to do to get a little bit of attention... and I still don't know why you do it...

I think that in some ways it's a giant gimmick. It gives this place a fanbase. From there the forum built a dedicated group of regulars. From those regulars several people became "helper" types who answer questions / provide info in other forums to help the new guys. Take martyr's big manga thread, or the chapter per volume thread he contributes too. Or me in the BT/IRC forum and my nick registration guide.

So sure, the means to creating a community was silly, but hell, it still caught on. So I don't care so much about tazmo now as I do about just contributing. Jesus just look at the Download request forum. I've never seen a forum so heavily based on members helping each other out.

well to sort of answer the thread

this site started out of pure spite but you can only carry spite for so long until you get bored or over it...once the person on this site realized this he decided to make it into a magna site which is becoming clearly one of the best sties for magna..well i remember when this was just forums and people bitching...at least now we can bitch about things and get cool FREE magna too (my account is new because i forgot my old name

plus narutofan is not a business..for it to be a business you need a product/service to sell..he sells other people's product..the magna and anime he profits off of his not his work or his sites work..he simply sits at home and waits for respectable subbers to release their work and he puts it on his site and sells it..most subbers say during the half way mark of a show "if you bought this free sub you got ripped" which is exactly what Tazmo does..plus he asks for donations so he can pocket some of it for himself

for note i am not banned from his site..anyway this trend of asking for donations and taking free anime and making people pay for it, is an increasing trend on anime sites which is ashame
