Thread: Tazmo Question

Not sure if this is where I can ask questions about him but I figured this is the most appropriate board.

Okay, I recently became interested in Naruto again(I took a long break from it for a while because the filler bored me to tears) so I have been looking all over the place for a large community of Naruto fans to dicuss it with. That's when I found the Naruto fan forums. The clubs looked like so much fun(although they seem a little crowded, unorganized, and spam-ish at times) and I have been wanting to join.. however...

Recently, my brother told me not to because I would be supporting this Tazmo guy whose been ripping people off and stealing credit for other people's translations.

I never planned on downloading anything from them to begin with. I happen to buy all of my anime and manga if they are licensed in this country because I feel it's unfair to both the Japanese and American companies. I only watch fansubs of anime that arn't here yet and buy them when they are released. I only wanted to join the forums(which to my knowledge is free)

So I just wanted to ask... Should I really? Do you think I'm just supporting this loser by joining. Is it really all that great to begin with?(people seem a little intolerate there)

If you think I shouldn't, could you please recommend some good alternatives as far as Naruto forums go?

ehh, we are only bashing for supporting tazmo by paying him money - going to his forum doesn't support him at all.

I guess that makes sense. I just thought giving him more members would make his name even bigger.

I guess I will join then and see for myself if it sucks or not.

What we're not cool enough?

A lot of his own forum members & ex-moderators don't even like him.

At least that's the impression I got when I visited the Narutoforum's irc channel.

What's the point? You don't want to download, so why join? Its pointless. And so is the site.

I think it supports him because he has ads on those forums...

Well, by joining his forums, you kind of support him and his site... I dont know if this site is better, but try it out!

Well, like it or not, I admire Tazmo. There are tons of website about anime, manga but he made his website one of the most crowded. Anyway, we should learn from him how to make a website interesting and attractive. I used to download there but not anymore. The download speed and stability is very bad

Well, there was a time that I was using NarutoPLUS. But I never paid for it O.o

Seems to have been a glitch. I downloaded the whole One Piece series from the NarutoPLUS section, and some other series. But this didn't last for long, after like, a month, I was blocked and now I'd have to pay to use the site like everyone else lol.

Has anyone ever heard of this wonderful glitch before? Maybe a way to recreate it...
