The heck? Stop that guys, no informing outsiders. This is something we have to resolve ourselves in the manga community.

I agree. Bring Viz into this, and it could call unnecessary attention to all the scanlators. Didn't you hear about the subbers of Death Note recently? We're lucky we have people who still scanlate licensed series, and nobody does anything to stop them. Please don't ruin it for us.

They are not oblivious..

Of course Viz knows about these things. Everybody should be able to assume that Viz knows about these things.
But they have always kept OUT of the scanlation community and stuff because it helps spread the popularity of manga throughout the world.

Complaining to Viz about Tazmo's scandal would be like asking somebody who has generously offered their indifference towards technically illegal activity into getting involved.

Besides, Tazmo is in Canada right? The phone number posted contacts an American headquarters. I may not be a lawyer, but I'm guessing that means he may as well be in China then.
