Another reason to hate Tazmo
Written from k-manga.net
Apparently there's been a bit of talk recently since it's been found that some of k-manga's projects are currently being hosted by the infamous Tazmo on NarutoFan.com. If you don't know of him, he's quite the controversial character, since he apparently runs a manga d/l site where he asks for pay from his patrons for the series he hosts. He supposedly has also lied to readers about needing more money for servers, etc. I won't go into the other insane accusations against him like how he supposedly spends the cash on child pornography. What matters to us is that Tazmo removes the credits pages from the series of which he hosts, and renames the files to be untrackable.
I for one, strongly believe that the world of manga scanlation deserves to be free, as it is for the purpose of enlightening the public about popular culture in other nations. I'm already quite sketchy about the tl licensed manga issue, but this is over the top. I don't support Tazmo, and I hope our readers will agree with me by not d/l-ing k-manga's releases on Tazmo. I want to send a big thanks to all our REAL distro members, and no thanks to disgusting cash-mongering demagogues.
PS: Does Tazmo have no freakin life? Where would you find the time to remove the credits and rename ALL those files??! Sigh... some people...
Removing the credits is easy, and I recently found a program to mass rename files. Not that I don't acknowledge the groups who did the scans but I prefer to have entire volumes in one folder. As for hating Tazmo it has kinda lost it's luster I still don't think what he does is right, but if you fall into his clutches you kind deserve it imo.
