I just visited this site yesterday and agree with most of what everyone is saying. Like some people that have been screwed over by Tazmo with people donating to him I was one of them. Aoril 18th, 2004 Tazmo's website had up an offer for a way to get Naruto via direct download, with fast connections. It was called Naruto Insider, at first I was like I don't want to do this but then I changed my mind about it.
See I was at college when it came up and since my connection back at home was only dial-up, I really couldn't use bittorrent or mIRC to get the episodes it took forever but direct downloads were what I had down at college since both bittorrent and mIRC were not allowed and you could get kicked out of a dorm if you used either one (the total list of banned search and download programs was alot more but I am not going to list them). So I thought that Naruto Insider would be a good thing, and payed for it.
I payed 30 dollars for it, which was a year long subscription. I know I should have realized right away something was wrong when the account was deemed non-verified by paypal, but put it one the back burnere of my mind due to finals coming up.
I really didn't think about it again til June 2004, when I was getting ready to leave with the rest of my unit to go over to Iraq. I looked into it again and had Paypal cancel the subscription, but could not get the money back at all. Later found out from a friend that there was never a website going by that and I had been scammed. So when I came back July 2005, I had completely forgotten about it until I happened upon this website and noticed that the last name for one of the site admins was familar. I went and checked my Paypal account and saw that the name of a person who recieved my payment was the same as the site admin, Brian Shiel. So I am wondering who exactly screwed me over.
This is a Tazmo bash part of the forum and I did bash Tazmo for the scam he did to me but I want to know if anyone else has any insight about this including the site admins. The other thing is that Naruto Insider sounds so much like what Naruto Plus! has turned out to be.
Thanks for anyone who listened to this rant, and I hope I didn't offend anyone either.
