    I think we have some of this covered.
    Anime = Anime Corner
    Mangas = That huge Manga Series forum listing

    I'm not sure if games would attract too many people but any game forum names in particular that would interest you and other people?

    Thank you for your suggestions

    A decent Game board will need active moderators. Unless of course by games you mean simple ones like "Describe the poster above you" types of games which doesn't require serious moderation.

    I think a fancy manga/anime related topic that would entice discussion would keep us on our toes.

    What exact forums should we add? We do have an entire "Gaming" section with two forums, so if those are not enough what forums should be added and with what titles?

    My sister's been a member here since 2005. She introduced me to this site maybe around in the year 2005-2006 era. But I've been a lurker until around 2011 that I decided to register. If I told my sis about this news, she would probably talk about the endless memories she's had with the site. I remember her saying to me, Tazmo may have been a bad guy - but his actions led to so many good things". And I am sure she was talking about StopTazmo. On behalf of my sister, I would like to thank you so much for all you've done.

    If you want to shutdown the reading aspect of the site, then go ahead and do so without regrets. The point of this site was to send a message that what Tazmo and "others like him" were doing needed to be informed to all who access manga online. As such, since then many manga site were created almost every 6 months. Any many had died. (OneManga, TheEvil-Empire, MangaToshokan, MangaHut, SomeManga, etc. It's amazing you lasted this long though. You've done what many people in their life-time couldn't do, and that is satisfy people all around the world who were seek a free reading experience.

    I was going to suggest you use free hosting/servers and such, but I doubt you'd go that route. I want to ask, have you ever received any copyright message warnings from publishers and copyright holders for StopTazmo to stop hosting some series?

    It's great to hear that you are here because of your sister's introduction. I laughed when I read "Tazmo may have been a bad guy - but his actions led to so many good things" talking about the opening of this site. I totally forgot about the other manga sites that had all closed. It seems though that more and more keep popping up though.

    We have in the past received DMCA's and because of that some series were removed and we had to switch hosts. I'm also not interested in keeping the site running using free hosting.

    Thank you very much for sharing your history with this site. It's too bad it's had to come to this but everything happens for a reason.

    I found this site right before the manga were removed. I wish I'd have found it earlier and opened an account in order to donate. At any rate maybe a pay per file download system could be implemented, if that is even possible. I wouldn't mind paying for the remainder of the Gantz series, and I'm sure that there are plenty of others who would pay for individual files.

    1. Probably a manga reader would do. I used to download manga all the time and in the long run noticed that most of them just got piled up on my hard drive. So I switched to online manga reader, where I could read manga and not fill up my hard drive. If you want to earn from ads, that's the best way to go, you can place ads on every page of the manga to earn significant revenue.
    2. Organize a scanlation group and translate series that haven't been picked up yet. I'm pretty sure that people will flock this site if the scanlation group becomes known.
      • In relation with number 2, you can place a section where people volunteer to help with other group's scanlation projects. For example if Scanlation Group A needs a cleaner just for this week since their cleaner got sick, they can ask for help in this particular section. Or perhaps if Scanlation Group B's translator finds a difficult phrase to translate in the series that he's working, they could ask for help in this section. The main idea here, is building a better community than other sites out there.
      • Or what about a free scanlation group. Similar to Wikipedia, where anyone can contribute to help translate a manga. Everyone can edit, can translate, can clean. Truly must be a 100% collaboration from fans.

    I'm just writing what's going in and out of my mind, don't mind me..
