    For those of you just reading this posting now, we used to have another post here asking for help in restoring our ability to accept donations with a copy of an email that was being asked of all of you to take the time to send. The email got the attention of the right people and it did some good but just not enough.

    A good friend of mine Mark has been accepting donations for us without any problems since 2007, but within the last few days his account with a particular company that cannot be named if he wants his account back, just think in terms of "Lord Voldemort", powerful guys you cannot speak their name or you will be struck down, terminated his account. He tried to appeal, appeal and appeal and he received no help at all, just canned emails and he depended on the money to help make his living.

    It was a result of this that led me to send a mass email to about 70,000 of our members before stopping the emails, directing you to this thread where I gave you the full details of the situation along with a copy of of the email that I wanted forwarded to particular individuals who worked at this company, hoping it would help reinstate his account with Company "Lord Voldemort", an alias of their real name along with our ability to accept donations.

    Mark heard from the company in question today and they decided to compare us to sites like RapidShare/MediaFire and other "file sharing sites", although I would not consider us anything similar to them, we are more of a Manga reader/library type of site since most people choose to read things online, more related to a library than a file sharing site, and because we are classified by someone as related to file sharing, we were required to get ourselves pre-approved, and once an infringement has been made, it's not possible to be approved. The only problem in my mind is that we were never informed of any such thing, even though our site had been reviewed before. This means that things are pretty much over for us and that we are not going to be able to collect donations through this particular company I cannot mention if my friend is to recover his merchant account with them as they require their name to be removed from the site. Sounds great huh? They can use their monopoly power to crush people and demand that their name be wiped from the site or you will be cut off, sounds like a serious number of those executives should be in jail with their brothers and sisters if you ask me.

    Normally I'd never agree to wipe a companies name from existence after they do what they did to us. In this case though I have to cave, this company is bigger than us, stronger and decided to crush us, and they live up to their name and Company "Lord Voldemort" describes them very well. Mark is a good friend of him and since it's clear it's over for us and the return of donations, I've decided that it's only fair that I help him get his account back.

    For those of you just reading this now:

    I've been responsible for running and maintaining StopTazmo since 2004 and we have been open for almost 10 years now without any of the shady things such as forcing users to purchase premium membership to download or access certain areas of our website. Recently we've had someone make copyright claims against us which led a particular company to terminate us. It's no longer possible for us to accept payments through this company. One of the worst though is that whoever made the complaint against us was not required to actually present any proof, they just closed the account without telling us what exactly is copyrighted, we have not received any DMCA's or anything, we've just been totally shutdown and the company failed to respond or read any of our messages. Mark was told that this individual contacted us and told this company we just did not respond, which is a flat out lie, never did they contact us.

    Here is where we stand now.


    Our Ability To Accept Donations:

    1. This is gone. Not going to return.

    Mark's Account Recovery with the Merchant:

    I'm required to do a few things to help him
    1. Remove all references to this company from this thread, which is why this thread has been so heavily edited, done, now complete.

    2. Remove all references to this company from another thread, done already.

    3. Disable certain Manga series, I've already done that and I'm working on another solution at the moment to get them online in the next few days.

    UPDATE: Mark's got his account back but we cannot accept donations anymore

    Where do we go from here with no money to pay server bills?
    Mark and I have a few ideas that we should be able to launch in a few days of having limitations removed from his account. I'm going to be posting another major announcement in the days to come, along with sending you all another email. I hope I can count on you guys to help us again over the next few days.

    We are going to be sending another email to everyone, describing some changes that are being made, new partners who might be able to help us remain online as well.

    I would like to thank each and everyone of you who read about this, posted on Twitter, Facebook and who took the time to email the company in question.

    NOTE: Please do not mention this company in this thread since they are watching and if you do my friend might not get his account back, let's just call them "Company X" or "Lord Voldemort".

    Thank you very much for taking the time to contact Company X on our behalf. I see a lot of people reading this thread, if any of you could also quickly open up your email client/webmail and send the same message to Company X, using the info provided, I'd appreciate that as well. If we cannot recover our Company X account we might have to close and I'd prefer not to do that.

    Everything you need is in my first post. You take what I have in the fields above in the To:, Subject: and Message: Fields and you plug them into your webmail/email client like any other email and send them. Thank you for helping us.

    sometimes <REMOVED COMPANY NAME BY KEVIN SHIEL> can be a pain in the ass, I've also sent out the email.

    I was told those two emails bounced earlier but it was too late to change the emails that were already being sent. I just hope that the other emails I found do us some good. I had someone email them and for a while none of the addressed bounced so I thought all was ok. Anyways, thank you for your help, it really means a lot to us.
